So anyways I decided to make my own guide for a Pure INT based char that is a fast leveler and doesn't require SP farming.

SO here Goes ...

First of all the skills. Because you are a nuker and you don't want to farm you will only develop your character on 2 skill trees.


1. Ice Skill Tree.

You will want to get ice because: - gives great physical protection, and you will definitely need it since you are Full INT

- lets you take full advantage of the Snow Shield (you will definitely need this skill in PVP, Jobbing, and Grinding(especially against party mobs or giants)

- you can freeze mobs, as well as players with Cold based attacks (believe me sometimes its a lifesaver)

The SKILLZ:


Cold Mastery:


Frost Guard Series(MAX) - You will definitely need this as it adds the much needed physical defense for Nukers. In the first 2-3 books the difference will be almost insignificant, but the fourth book is really worth getting)

Cold Wave Attack Series(SKIP) - Waste of SP to use another skill just for the 100% chance of Frosbite and NO damage

Frostwall Series(SKIP) - Also waste of SP as it renders you totally immobile

Frost Nova Series - Get LVL 1 for the first 2 books, always a fun skill to have as it freezes enemies around you (in case you're getting gang banged)

Snow Storm Series(MAX) - Get ALL 3 books. The first one isn't amazing but it gets the job done along with Lightning Nuke. The second one is a must have as it does AOE damage and looks nice as well. The third one will probably by one of you 2-3 main nukes in the 70+.

Snow Shield Series(MAX) - The reason why many people are getting back ice after Euro Update. This is basicly a shield that will drain your mana instead of life, and since you have a LOT of mana you can spare some to save your life.(it's kind of lie mana shield in Warcraft 3)

Cold Armor Series(Passive)(MAX) - Just like any chinese passive this has to be maxed.(adds physical defense power)

2. Lightning Skill Tree

You want to get Lightning because:
- you can move a lot faster
- has transfer damage on nukes and imbue(not always a good thing)
- give a great boost in magical attack

Lightning Mastery:


Piercing Force Series(MAX) - Probably one of the best buffs in game for chinese characters. It adds magical damage by a set percentage and will not end up costing you a lot of SP. (without this buff in the higher levels you will a considerably less amount of damage with your nukes)

Wind Walk Series - 1st and 3rd Books MAX. This is seriously the best buff in the game for chinese IMO. Doesn't add damage, doesn't add defense, it just makes you move faster and this is useful in so many ways.(since you want to have a fast leveling build this is a must have as it will enable you to get from mob to mob faster)

Lion Shout Series(MAX) - AKA Mini Nuke. Instant casting nuke with less damage than regular nuke.(good for finishing off mobs and lower lvl murderers that try to run away LOL)

Thunderbolt Force Series(MAX) - All books as they will be your main nukes.(they also have transfer damage which is pretty nice)

Heaven's Force Series(MAX) - Passives have to be maxed, get over it.(adds parry ratio, long story short you receive less damage in the long run)


Left Behind Skills:

Imbue: I have been pretty torn in choosing between cold and lightning, but ultimately i had to go with lightning because of transfer damage, but the status effect is also a nice bonus.
(I didn't take cold because the only good thing about it is that you get to freeze people, but since you are already using Cold nukes freezing mobs is not really a problem.)


Wind Walk Series: Book 2 and 4 : I didn't really get the whole Phantom speed thing, and this is the only reason why i didn't get. If you like it and you are used to it then get it.


Concentration Series: This really depends. Because I was trying to make a fast leveling build i didn't want to waste any SP, but later on when I realized that I had extra SP left over, I decided to max it as it adds a nice parry bonus which means less damage.(remember, nuker, low health)


Total SP needed for Build: 264K SP


Leveling Strategy:


Lvl 1-30: Easy. Powerlevel. If you can't get powerleveled(WTF?) just grab a bow and start grinding without skills(only with imbue) on a 0-3 Gap.

Lvl 30-50: You can pretty much survive with a spear if you are wearing armor. Just grind with your beloved nukes and max damage and you'll get to Lvl 50 in no time.

Lvl 50-70: I suggest you get a Sword and Shield after lvl 52 as you will need the extra defense.(as you progress in levels mobs will hit you harder but unfortunately you HP won't be increasing to much, so every little bit of defense helps)

Lvl 70-80: Really up to you and your gear here. Go with S/S if you feel that you will die easily, but if you have good gear you can probably go Spear.



Lastly:

Advantages: - fast leveler
- no SP farming required( you can powerfarm in the early lvls or just keep a 2-3 GAP and you should be good)
- massive damage dealer
- versatile in terms of weaponry (you can switch between S/S and Spear)


Disadvantages: - low HP, can get killed easily
- can't tank(you're a nuker)
- weaker than farmed chars in PVP

i like the guide cuz people want to lvl fast before going to the 90 cap

i didnt know if too make a wizard or a nuker but i made a wizard is good damage but pot delay sucs i get pist and stop playing with himhis lvl 31 gap 1 full farmed but im going to make a nuker thank you for the guide

is really use full other poeple might not see it but it is cuz is really easy to farm with a nuker kills fast so just lvl it then farm

Pretty good guide, might try it if I ever decide to make a nuker. Might want to add how much SP and all is used though.

This guide sucks so much that it went passed negative infinity to +1 positive.

i prefer cobbz guide, but nice effort

[cobbz guide basically = lvl 1-5 dont allocate sp so get a 5 gap then at lvl 5 use sp to get the light imbue, then at lvl 6 get the first bow skill [anti devil] then at lvl 8 get the second bow skill, then at lvl 9 get that light mag def boost skill. then with a 1 gap or 0 gap just focus on

anti devil [lvl 1] [the first 1]
bow combo [lvl 1] [the first 1]
light imbue [max all]
mag def [max all]
and grass walk [lvl 1]
^ that applies to lvl 6-30 [lvl 1 - 5 is no skills 5 gap]
lvl 30 + is spear for max dmg use armourz pls ^^

like i said , this is my first guide

my guide is a different type of guide than cobbz's guide
his guide relied on fast grinding more than anything ( as you can see from his skill tree development) and it is outdated( as in it doesn't take into consideration the lvl 80 skills implementation) , while my guide is based more on a creating a particular build that requires little to no SP farming and can still lvl fast and compete decently in PVP

wow, i have this build lol, only i have spear upgrade to 23 with all skill at lvl 1. i suggest unfarm player to have spear to atleast 20 or 23, u will get skill to finish off monster and gain abit more HP.

my friend is a pure int nuker lvl 42 all his skills at lvl 42 and spear skills 1 in all ice,lighting,fire full farmed so just get the passive skills Max and the res all 1 and keep sword skills max if ya go s/s nuker

I like the guide, just one question. How does this build fare in pvp against other characters? Does it still do massive damage, even without the fire nukes?

This is a really good guide. A lot of people want to be as strong as a nuker but don't want to spend a month doing nothing but SP farming. I'm currently at level 24 both skill trees at 21 just building a little extra SP for when I reach 30. Other than that you can get to 90 on a 3 gap if you just farm out a couple levels every now and then. Like you reach 50 and start building your gap out to 5 or so and farm a couple levels on that so you have enough than drop it back down to 3.


EDIT: As of level 90 cap, needed SP for this build is 475,050 according to nivlam.com
