Well, instead of Cleric being the main class, I was thinking Bard. I know for tons of skills, another Bard has to be there, which one of my guildmate is a Bard. Should I take more than insta-effect skills and skills staying after switch, or should I just stay with the insta-effect skills(Heal ASAP or something) and skills that stay after weapon switching?

I plan to be playing with either my Wizard/Cleric friend(He barely uses Cleric, so I can't really rely on him), or partying with my guildies, which I never fight because they're higher than me, all I do is buff with Bard and heal with Cleric. I would not be taking any offensive Cleric skills though.

How much SP do you think is required?

Weapon switching with Cleric is ok, you just can't use those str and int buffs that is all. For bard, all those protection aura and hit match won't work unless you hold a harp. Moving match and Noise will work just fine, however.

For cleric, all you need is max Healing Cycle, max Healing Division, and level 1 Group Healing.

How much would it cost to de-lvl my Wizard Mastery(Now at 10), and 12 skill levels?

I'm planning to get most, if not all, of the Bard skills, since I will be playing with another bard; is it easily playable? As for Cleric skills, I will be taking Group Healing(Leave at Lv1?), Recovery Division, Healing Cycle, Healing Orbit, Bless Spell, Group Recovery, Group Reverse, Holy Word, and Holy spell. Do you think it'll play well in guild PvPs?

Is it 50k each de-lvl, or 50k in total?

Have you considered just leveling both classes fully? That way you can play bard most of the time, and be a cleric if your party is in need of one.

Bard is very playable as a solo character. The spells don't hit extremely hard, but they have a very quick execution and cooldown time. Combined with Holy Word, Recovery Division, and Bless you should have a fun time playing. Within a party you'll just be busy replenishing mana and removing aggro.

That's what I sort of plan to do, just run around replenishing MP and HP. I plan to practice really quick switching, skill, then switch back, but it's sort of difficult to coordinate all of it and execute it smoothly. I considered leveling both classes fully, and I may, all except for the last series and the series with Pure Offering.

Personally I don't like switching, especially since many of the strong buffs disappear when you do that. Within a party, focus on being one thing, and perhaps (if the other class is missing in the party) cast the long lasting buffs of the other class every 5 minutes or so.

Well, I plan to put on long staying buffs, then alternate to heal HP and MP, but yeah, I don't like switching much, but an active hand on the keyboard is funner than slow hands.

My point is that if you switch between healing HP and MP, then you can not use your clerical STR/INT buffs, nor can you use your bardic music and dances. Either of those are much more useful than one character working his/her ass off switching weapons back and forth.

Group Recovery and Recovery (level 40 skills) are what you should be keeping at level 1, and that's only because those heal tremendous amounts of HP. Mine are level 3 (that's level 48 ) and I heal 10k hp with either one of those. Can't remember the last time the tanker died....and when he did die I was spacing out..haha. Healing is too easy with up to date healing cycle.

Well, if the Dances go out, can't I just reuse them after switching back?

Does anyone else think there would be controversy between the buffs and switching back and forth? Not just small ones, but like a big controversy.

380K to delevel, I think it's 38K-ish for lvl 11-->10, so probably less than 380k per level/skill (assuming 10-->0). But, since you have skills in that tree, I'd say (skills)*38K = max amount to spend, in addition to collecting (skills)*10 curse hearts.

i got a bard/cleric in guild and it does well in party

he uses recovery division (only thing from cleric) then uses bard's tambour from then on

so we get both the healing and the mp and def buff

Sure, but then you'd be spending more than half your time recasting your buffs in stead of healing HP/MP. Besides, I recently had to play bard for a large (not well functioning) party, and since the MP heal spells are so much weaker than the HP heal spells, you'll have your hands full keeping everybody's MP up.

The general idea is:
When playing bard, cast recovery division, holy word, phy/mag defense buff on others, and bless. Then be a bard.
When playing cleric, cast moving march and noise. Then be a cleric.
