Hello.

I tried to + my lvl 64 spear 2 times to +7. Both failed. The spear is currently +6. Is the damage increse I get from from 1+ worth it to try it again? The color at +7 is nice, but that alone is in my opinion not worth the effort. To me it seems like every + adds about 100 - 150 damage (magical buffs included).

Well the dmg isn't really the big thing, For me its the different glow and the value gets increased when its +7, On my server the difference between a +6 and +7 in price is like a 100m (for lv72 weps)

But the yellow/gold glow is so nice but damage wise its not a huge difference from 6-7

if you got the money to keep trying then it is worth it to you
and like it was said the value of +7 does go up over +6
so its up to you if you want to spend the dough and try
one thing you can do is buy an astral with silk
it will keep it from dropping below 4 if it fails

are u farming at 64? if not juz do wif a +6 and lvl up to get the 72 weapon and pimp that 1 instead, no point pimping non last set/non farming gear unless its sox

lvl 64+7 weapons are dirt cheap,there is no point to +7 it. Just buy one.

Hmmm...yes i am farming at Karras, at the moment the gap is 4. I need to farm as I am out of sp (all skills are up to mastery 60). Thought I would make a 9 gap, and just go with the flow. When I have about 150.000 sp I will close the gap. The spear will stay at +6 and I will try to +7 a lvl 72 weapon instead. the clothes i am wearing is...crap... no blues, so the cave is not an option. Will wait until I get 8th degree garment before I start using alchemy on them.

Come to think of it...buying a +7 spear is also not an option as I do not have enough gold. My current gold situation is about 30 million. And if I were to buy a +7 spear I would be...broke

Edit: I recently bought a lvl 32 sos blade and sos shield for a friend of mine, and I am trying to find a good price on a lvl 42 sos blade for him, so I cannot really use money to buy a +7 spear

Anyway, the +6 spear is more than enough at the moment.
