I think the mods and admins are doing a pretty good job.
Some mods i like more than others but all in all they keep the forum clean.
If SG decides to ban someone chances are its not because he dislikes that person, but that person has done something to deserve it.
I don't see the problem really..

1) Be a bot supporter.
2) Be a bigot.
3) Disrespect the SRF staff.
4) Remake an account after being banned once for one of the above.
5) Be a constant problem.

It's only simple rules, mostly common sense. If an admin decides to ban
someone thats it, although it might effect the forum its a forum run and
owned by the admins, not the members. They can do what ever they like.

i doubt that. you would still be angry. but you would be less quick to write the person off completely. you would still be hurt and confused, but if the person is nor mally not like that, and they apologize, then it's easier to handle.

I've been reading through this topic just like any other of these. With pleasure.

Yet again, my oppinion still stands :

This website has grown to a huge community.

In a smaller community with, say 100 active posters, people know eachother so well that there is really no need to flame eachother. Seriously go find some forums with barely any active users and you will see how happy they are to find a topic about another poster that just gotten a new bow and killed mujigi's with it. I can give you a nice example of exactly what i'm talking about here. If your interested, PM me. It's just another forum.

I can not tell you why it is totally the other way around in a bigger community, the main reason is most likely the internet But this is simply just the way it is

Just think of this,
What would be easier, lead a group of 5 people or lead one of 50?
I guess you will think more leaders is the answer considering you know 5 is easier to lead. IT IS NOT. It's something i've given thought to and so should many many others on this board.

I have flamed, i have accused, but i have never flamed/showed disrespect to a mod. Why have i done thsi? Because i am simply just another internet user.

It's just the way it is and it cannot be changed.

Ryoko didn't choose SG to be the head admin/leader of this huge community just like that and without giving loads and loads of thought to it. Secondly, yet again, this is the internet, there are flames and accusations for every move a person makes. Whether they are right or wrong, god knows, but this topic is a perfect example of how they are and WILL be treaten.

Not a perfect translation but decent enough (maybe neither of you needed the translation but i was amused by this thread enough to post it).

OnT: Well... one wrong moment can spoil a life's hard work. I´m with MrFudge in the matter of the new girl who got flamed for no reason, but i´m with SG on the ban matter... breaking the rules, no matter when or how gets you a ban, as simple as that.

I really can´t say if the mods have or haven´t done a good work lately because i have not been around but they were really good before i left...
