indeed sad lets hope you will have more luck in the future, make sure you try to clean your pc bit too suspicious that all your accounts got cleaned

i always have my doubts when people claim to be hacked after receiving friends items.

well lately there have been many scams because now you can simply use the excuse of HACKERS!

i am sorry if i am mistaken in you but there are way too many claiming to get hacked after they borrow good items, some even scam restart total new char sell or save those items.
its lame of me to doubt the topic starter but its all too suspicious especially after the public hack has been fixed, there are probably more ways to get people passwords but i would not waste my time as a hacker randomly attacking people.

well its a good friend of mines, I know him irl.

ya the screen was taken when i just logged in and found I was hacked. And y I don't want to show off my gear? because i don't have any XD

And i still don't get it... I could've chosen to not post any screens at all. And everytime someone post a screen on this forum, people start complaining about not seeing yellow boxes and look for evidence of a bot...

maybe he just moved all items to another of his character to steal the SOM S/S that he borrowed to make it seen like he was hack....some hacker steal items others...steal items and keep character and murder random players.

I don't get the part about the SP...why would they only put half of it into GP and not all of it? From what I seen with hacking of that sort , if they want steal the GP they usually join you to another guild and donate it there, but you really think it went into your own guilds GP. either it was an inside job or the hacker is just trying to throw you off, I don't know why they would care to, but o well.

no idea. but they did have the time to scroll through all 3 of my characters on the same account and strip them. No murder status either. I dont' think its an inside job but oh wellz

sucks to get more of my stuff jacked again, but some people who play this game want to find their own way of playing it, ruining it for everyone else.

The feeling of losing expensive gear is bad, but then losing a char that u've grown to enjoy playing on is worse =.=

anyway, don't bother with another chinese char for now...
play euro and u'll still be fine with npc gear =.=

I hate scammer and hackers, it just sucks to see accounts get lost like that. There are only a few people that deserve to be hacked and scammed...very few.

u'll probably believe that until u get hacked yourself. I used to think that way too until Nodame got hacked.

getting keyloged is not being hacked, btw.. jm has fixed there bugs and are fixed really well. you would need to crack there sql database. witch is really hard. and i think it had 128 bit encryption(same thing your bank uses)..
+ if they really can hack.. they would not go for a lvl 52.. they would know about rev6.com and would go pick out all the nice weps.. before you start posting use your head.. maybe do some reading on the subject..

I guess we can easily fall into the trap of shifting part of the blame to something we could all comprehend or try to. To accept that a completely legit player got hacked isnt something we want to accept, as it scares us to think how bad JM's security can be (and it is bad). I just tend to err on giving everyone the benefit of the doubt until they say otherwise. Whatever we say doesnt change the fact the person got hacked and lost alot of time and hard work into the charachter(s).

Though you probably meant well to curb usage of 3rd party programs, as they are well known to harbour keyloggers as such. Just dont assume that this was the case. :love:

either way. the point is that he got hacked.

when my char got hacked i didn't use any 3rd party programs or whatever. so unless my anime has keyloggers on it, prove me wrong.

just feel sorry for the guy or don't respond on the thread.

some of the people that get scammed really are stupid enough to get scammed... like the classic switch weapon trick... from sox to a npc one..

or the one on Greece... BlackCombNUK aka All2Death keeps trying to scam with his 299mil sosun 64+6 blade lol.. of which he stalls it and then switches to an sos blade...

not sure how many people got scammed by that already.. but it really gets annoying. seeing as some people continue to do it..

but i agree with u to a certain level. people that get scammed (unless they trusted someone with something which the other person never returned) only have themselves to get blamed.

Breaking someone's trust is another thing. those people ought to be shunned =.=

u can get keylogs/trojans from only visiting a webpage also... not just downloading files, think about any pages you've gone to recently as a result being involve in the game..a link from forums, someones myspace, youtube ect. It can be done that way
