I remember starting this game, when I had no watsoever basic idea of how it works.
Me and my brother installed it, play ard and go out grind at Jangan.
I picked a Spear and my brother had a Blade.
Somehow he lvl faster than me lol... He got to lvl 8 in one day and i was lvl 6. XD
We didn't have pets. Jangan was filled with players, I always manage to sell my drops at 3X the NPC purchase price.
I still remember seeing elixirs priced at 1m each. and i thought "what are these things"
Until I got an elixirs myself. Trust me, elixirs were rare and +4 was ownage at that time.
It was fun. Seeing high lvl around the jangan ferry phantoming and I thought "COOL!!!"
I didn't know that there is a portal to reach DW. Still remember the first time I tried to reach there. I was lvl 20, I zerk and run all the way there from the ferry lol.
I was a nuker, using all sort of weapons, as soon as a better weapon drop, i will use it. I didn't know that spear is what I need. I was using a glavie until I found myself a guild and my guild mate tells me to use a spear.
My first wolf, earning 1m was a big step for me that time. Buying a wolf is another.
I told myself that my wolf will b named after lvl 40. So he did.
I learn abt Bots when I was lvl 3X, Bots were rare. You seldom see them ard.
I reach lvl 52 on my nuker and quit.
I came back after ahile. With a new char. The game has changed with bots all ard, can't grind ard HT area. I remember the hardest part was getting past lvl 4X~5X due to bots. But my union and my guild got me going.
I made to lvl 80 and only to realise that my guild is empty all the time. My GM made me GM cuz he can't afford PT anymore, He can't grind due to bots. My friends can't log in. More n more are quiting. The iSRO we had is gone. The fun times with mangyangs are gone.
The time when we see a full guild with silk and non silk buyers are gone.
Y don't JM just make it P2P if they wan't money so bad?

Meh, I still have fun being a level 80 and farming.

Joined a small guild in a small union that doenst do politics a few days back. And the old times are back. I am back at Jangan South, pvping for fun. We fought 3 guildwars in the past weekend, of wich we won 2 and lost 1 but had the most fun in the one we lost.

In the times before that I was just focussed on being fully farmed, now I dont really care anymore. 9 gap FTW.

I play for fun, nothing more, nothing less.

Oasis Good times

Levels 1-42 when server first opened.

When Item Mall opened, CCFing was rampant on Oasis just like it was on other servers. Back when item mall items were tradeable. Bought my first Gold Ticket for 500,000 Gold lol!

Oasis became Bot Server within first 3 weeks of opening. Good times short lived.

Current: Defiance Union and all other Union with similar attitudes.

When i've started playing sro (around the 70 cap) it was already full with botters, and already crowded

Tho I remember seeing the first 80ers (didn't knew about bots that time XD)they where like god himself

i joined around easter 2006 and on oasis server lol i remember at south jg the penons always killing us it was a fun time and the easter egg drops i wasnt smart i was selling them 20k each but i made my 500k of that
