Lixiae, this isn't the proving grounds for status. It's about applying arguments to enlighten one another. Debates aren't about, I win you, you lose. It's about sharing information to one another to educate each other.

Now, I'm disagreeing with you, I gave you my information, you give me yours. If we still don't agree with each other, and we still continue to say the same thing, then the debate will leave us no where, and shouldn't really be carried on.

But to comfort you, XFire tells me I've been playing Silkroad Online for 1,737 hours. This forum says I joined in December 2006. I've actually started playing before I've joined the game. With a rough estimate, I'd say since april, 2006.

Wrong. Theres a huuuuuge difference in watching a lvl 80 play and actually playing one. Remember your quality vs quantity argument? You don't have quality gameplay at till 6x minimum.

I don't think a lot of people are even gold buying now. What's there to buy that requires a ton of gold? There's no high level SoX drops anymore, so there's no need for that. They need to gather all the stuff for alchemy, there goes that too.

Lixiae, if that were the case, you're obviously an exception. You've blatantly been ignoring facts. So please, go play Europe, studying everything in it, then come back and report your findings.

Quality is different from quantity. Wrong, this game requires time and time alone to lvl.
Time spent = amount of knowledge. Wrong, what do you gain by hitting 123 over and over again? Euro or chinese, your still hitting 3-5 skills, just with Euro it requires a -slight- amount of timing.

And, Silkroad isn't a dumb game. Yes, it is. Have you played WoW? Its 10000x more in depth than sro. This game requires ZERO skill, go play an fps for a week and compare that to sro. You can master a char in sro in ten minutes, ok maybe slight exaggeration but no more than an hour. In WoW or an fps, it will take you a heck of a lot longer than that to be good at the game.

what "facts" am I ignoring?

The power of a European party. You can say that this has degraded to "Euro vs China" but that's what it is. Most legits are Euro. Most bots are Chinese. A well formed European party can overcome nearly anything. You're saying it takes zero skill to play this game. Yeah, zero skill if a character is botted for PvP only. If you play the European side, play in a well formed party, you'll see it requires A LOT more skill then you give it credit for. While China can be played by brainless apes, I'm sorry, but Europe doesn't give you that comfort. A true fight, Euros vs Euros, keeps you on your toes, and you need to expect the unexpected. If you get stunned or slept, expect a cleric to offering you. Communicate, eliminate or push back the threat.

So please, before you try to tell me what's what in the legit vs bot war on my server, at least understand the sides to begin with. Because while you may have understanding of some European classes, you don't know about a fully functional European party. Why? Because they don't exist on older servers.

I'll give you a pistol to shoot. You fire it off. Very simple, yes. Now, I give you money to buy a rifle. You fire it off, also very simple. But, if I told you to shoot a target, dead on, 100 meters away, would you be able to actually hit the target alone? Most unlikely.

This can be said for Silkroad Online. The weapon (rifle and pistol) are the gear and the money is the gold. You shooting it, is playing the game. The target and you shooting the 100 meter dead-on shot, is the skill required to flourish in the game.

A soldier who does a shoot out with a civilian in a gun fight, who is more likely to win? The soldier, of course. Why? Because he has more knowledge.

Counter-Strike, is a much easier game to play than Silkroad. In Counter-Strike, you have only a few buttons to use, other than that, all you do is move and shoot. Does this mean that CS is a dumb game? No. You need to know where is the enemy and what to do. Is he behind the corner? Toss a grenade. Is the enemy far away? Use a sniper rifle. Is the enemy shooting at you? Take cover. CS is pretty complicated when it gets down to the pros.

This is to be said with Silkroad Online. You're trying to kill your enemy while trying to survive. Let's use Warrior/Cleric for an example. European naturally reduce your potion use, so you improvise. Cleric gives you defense and healing. Let's say your HP is low, so you switch to rod and toss on healing cycle. It gives faster HP recovery, which yo dearly needed.

Or, you're ambushed by two players, what do you do? Toss on bless spell, or defense skins. If you think you can fight them off, you try and do so.

So here you are again, making assumption after assumption, making baseless claims with no supporting evidence to back it up. Most legits are euro? Please. Most botters are chinese? Please. Yea euro parties require alot more skill, your still using 3-5 skills that require no aim or anything at all, you just have to NOT be a moron and know when to use them. That requires tons of skillz lawls. You know why you dont see 8 man euro parties grinding on older servers? Meh, before I give you a hint, I wanna see if you know the answer.

K, you think this game requires skill. You are entitled to your opinion, however I won't be replying to you anymore because you obviously do not know what a skill game is. Peace.

I can see your ignorance coming through again, thinking it's all the group skills. I'll see if you know the answer before I give you a hint.

As for why you don't see them, because they're powerlevelled, or they bot. They don't understand their role in the party. The only skills they know or care about are ones that do damage. The legits new to the server have to solo, and quit before getting high. So before you go making claims on races, on who plays what races, come see things for yourself before making your assumptions.

I see how euros are on new servers and on old ones. I know how chinese are on old servers and on new ones. I know how bots are on old servers and on new ones. The 'no need for it' only comes from lack of knowledge. Because they DON'T KNOW the power of a European party. When Is ay damage skills, I mean for their main class. Go look at the amount of wizards, rogues and 2H warriors out there. THEN come bitch to me abut 'damage skills'. Also, if you knew what they were like on new servers, you'd know how they're dying on Venus. So please, quit embarrassing yourself. Right, bots only care abotu damage skills, thats why they have no subclasses. An 8 man euro party is strong, no doubt, but your assuming, yet again, that euro = legit, and that simply isnt the case. Again, on your server your owning newbs, I have no doubts of that, but like I said before, the "pro" botters aren't leaving their servers. You keep changing your argument and changing what you said. Where did you say anything about subclasses? You said "botters only care about damage skills" and you were wrong. Your points? Your points are all about euro versus chinese and again, you are wrong. There's plenty of botted euros, just like theres plenty of botted chinese. Your next comment is just too stupid to argue, most people stay on their servers, and lots of newbs jump to new ones hoping for better results. Thats simply how it is. And I love how you think avalon is all holier than thou when the only reason alot of them play Venus is cuz they got banned from their original servers. lol

Tell me where I said anything ignoring subclasses too. Because that clearing means in one class, not the other, hence the MAIN part.

Botted Euros aren't a problem. Like I said, they don't know how to play in a party, and because of that, they're walking one shots. Chinese are walking one shots. They're both screaming "WTF HAX" when they die.

I also love how ignorant some people here are, because we're doing what many of you have tried to do, and you throw it aside like it's nothing. Hmm, I smell a rat here.

You always have to bring that ONE person up? Have you tried logging into Xian?

We all moved to start over and try to accomplish something. The one person "banned" didn't leave Xian for that reason. Xian is a dead server and crowded 24/7. Real fun to login to.....Oh and everyone being power leveled when we wanted to actually Euro grind is another factor.

Loads of fun joining a general party with afk clerics and bards buffing chinese then sitting down.

Yea Im too stupid to know that they caught botting multiple times on these forums and were listed on JM's banlist. Id guess you weren't around for that.

I'm sorry you think it doesn't take skills. I sit here pressing 123 to play my game. A greater part of this forum probably doesn't. Then again you only played a rogue and a wizard from Euro, the two 'bang, you're dead' and 'bang, I'm dead' classes of Europe, probably powerlevelled, soloed or otherwise. So please, play a party before telling me it takes no skill. You have admitted yourself you haven't been in a full Europe party. Ignorance there.

Also, English is a very precise language, but it also has many phrases to it. "I smell a rat" being a very common one.

Again and again you ignore more points and accuse me of being ignorant and ignoring yours, therefore Im done. I made 4 very well laid out points in my previous thread, and you replied to none of them.
