I was going to the Chinese embassy in NZ earlier, and there was this huge Falungong demonstration on. Made it so hard to get in, god dam cultists and some of them were doing their meditation crap. So I decided that a discussion on cults would be nice

Cults are the manifestation of people insecure with their origins and yearning to be a part of a "greater" social/religious group.

Dont freemasons worship the devil and s***? freemasons are not a cult, and no, they do not worship the devil. haven't you ever seen national treasure??? the masons are like a club, which is far from a cult. Quote: Freemasonry explicitly and openly states that it is neither a religion nor a substitute for one. "There is no separate Masonic God", nor a separate proper name for a deity in any branch of Freemasonry.[47][48]
Regular Freemasonry requires that its candidates believe in a Supreme Being, but the interpretation of the term is subject to the conscience of the candidate. This means that men from a wide range of faiths, including (but not limited to) Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism, etc. can and have become Masons http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freemasonryedit: no i am not one, i am just really bored at the office today!

Have you been to the HUUUUGE Freemason HQ near Dupont Circle? I can't remember the street, but I've walked by it many times. No one goes in or comes out and it's really creepy
