The exchange thing was a bot d/c'er? I thought those people spamming me with exchange requests were just noobs looking for 10k lol. Now they think i bot....I don't know which is funnier...

Gotta say that was bloody annoying when they do it and you're trying to pvp...

On another bot related thread there was a lvl 80 hunter in west DW on mercury when the servers opened. He'd spawned 2 lightning archers and was standing in the path of all the goldbots as they ran out. Stayed there for about half an hour killing 1-2 bots per second. Was amazing. Just watching how many kept running... sad that there's so many.

its a good fix
have not tried it yet but it sure was annoying when someone spams you with exchanges and you go to option try to block it and get disconnected :banghead:

but as usual many people (bots) have been complaining lately about it and joymax only seem to respond when they get major bug reports

they fixed it.... and it pretty much only worked on botters when they were in town at a specific location.. anyone exchanging elsewhere was probably asking you for 10k so that's going to continue.

.... this is so sad, how lame can you get Joymax, guess it's partly our fault for making videos and putting it back into the public eye after months of dormancy.

Wow....Just wow. Should we call this proof that JM is all for helping cheaters? I've never seen this bug work on a legit user. We've tested it a ton. Purely 3rd party program users.

Either that or get enough people to complain and they'll do something. Since the population is basically using the bot program and the "problem" seemed to only work on them, it is now solved.

Good luck for the average/rare? none silk buying player now in the nearly 24/7 crowded servers. This bug fix is clearly helping bot users enjoy the game. So don't expect to see the bot gone ever now.

Now waiting for a ban list with every legit and none silk buying player on it. Greed makes everything better.....

Actually, it hasn't fixed the d/c bug. We still d/ced bots. Because that's a flaw in the bot client, not the official client. Now what it MAY have fixed, is being d/ced for spamming it too much.

It only took me one call to JM Korea on Monday! Nice job JM, gotta say you got this one right. Little tidbit for the ppl doing this: Your were affecting my ability to play the game(and other legit players)! I buy lots of silk a month including premium ticket, i suggest u get one. When you impact the Corps., bottom line in a negative fashion, JM comes to the rescue. Remember, to you its just a game, so disrrupting means nothing, to JM is a business of EURKRW,USDKRW. I dont think you understand that. The other 90% of users that you may purposely DCd, buy silk and play the game without disrruptions! Now we can all move along and play this game in good fashion. My hat off to JM i gotta say, that they got this one right. Its not about the bots, its about disrrupting our ability to play the game! Tks to you we were about 6 hrs without play time, great job! Take care

well that is an awesome fix, that was one of the most annoying things that could happen during a war when a random player spams you with exchanges and you forgot to auto deny it, each time you tried to change it then you crashed :cry:

but the fact still remains the more people that spams joymax about a bug the only chance they will fix it, i still cant believe they have not fixed the hotan storage pillars bug yet, i for example never go to that guild agent too afraid to lag out on my way and end up in that pillar :banghead:

I may have spoke to soon then. Was going to test it before posting, just lazy. Yea it can be annoying getting spammed by exchange but that could be from users who don't pay attention and spam everyone.

Or it's the bug that worked on all players, the guy who taught us the thing said something about being able to DC anyone. Wasn't able to get anyone aside from the bots though so. Not sure about that side of the story.

Just watch them stop and go same pattern from one npc to the other and DC those people >.>

Guess bot company bug report to jm worth more money then legit players bug report

Just like they expanded the server capacity to make more space so gold prices can go down.

What I find amazing is the fact that some of you were not affected in some way by this bug one way or the other! I'm not with the guild of mostly ppl responsible for this spam trading bug, I believe, and correct me if Im wrong, the other 98% of the server was being affected by this randomness wrecklessness. When asked to stop, I got laughter, accusations, and continued! That's why they had to fix it. You cared about no one else! I got spam traded over 50 times in one pot run, and 30 times, attempting to collect my Purification seed quest! Sad guys, really sad. Should not argue about making a wrong, RIGHT!

Interaction between 2 players requires routing through the server. So you send a trade request to a user, it FIRST HITS THE SERVER, then it hits the player. This isnt a Joymax <3 bots issue. This is an issue of some children putting undue stress on joymax's system. Spamming ANYTHING is going to cause this issue. Why do you think they have the dc function when you start spamming your hot keys. Its not there to piss you off. Its cause impatient kids cant play right. So they slam hotkeys thinking it will make them attack faster, this tends to happen when you are fighting a giant, and are new to the game. If anything, JM will make its DC you for spamming. Remember how shan (a morning dew) said that he made the "full servers are good" post. Anyone remember some of the general gists of that post by chance. Ok here it goes. Full servers make the game look popular (this has nothing to do with this topic btw), this is one of the things that he was taught by the company that he mistakenly posted. Another thing he posted in that response that DOES matter to this topic, is that whether you are legit or bot it doesn’t matter to joymax. A player is a player no matter how they play. So basically this whole feeling that joymax is bot>legit is totally irrelevant. They made the fix to stop the stress on their system.

If they prefered bot over legit, theyd stop people from using the hunter spawning lightning archers trick. But guess what. That doesn’t strain their system. So they don’t care.

Maybe im wrong, maybe someone with more knowledge like pred could weigh in on the subject.

This Joymax <3 bots, is in league with the bot companies, runs all the bot company shit needs to end. There are logical answers to what is done. Seriously guys, pull your heads out of your asses -.-

All i know is that through the patch i obtained free GT and free GSPT.. how? I don't know heres what happened.
Night before the patch i activated a 1 day GT and a 1 day GSPT went grinding, my ticket time ran out like 3 hrs b4 i logged out...
Today after waiting ass long for them to get the servers back online i logged in and to my spurise my ticket's blue bar were full and time left on the tickets were 180 mins.. Note time on the tickets not time on the cool down..
Now after finishing my ticket i notice that there is no pink bar and the 2 icons have simply gone away after my ticket time expired... which means i can equip them again! And yes i did get extra exp and sp.
