skill bar, finger position?

Well, almost all of you seem to have your skill bars full with active skills, how do you manage to hit them practically, tell me your hand position. i myself keep my left hand with fingers on 1234 and i can reach 5 and barely 6, tell me how you use your whole skill bar. :oops:

I work the whole skill bar with my fingers. I'm very dextrous with my fingers from using them so much back in high school.

2- ghost walk
3- GSM
4- Flying dragon - fly
5- soul spear
6- jade breaking something or other ¬¬

ring finger on 3, middle on 4, index on 5. Easy to reach both 1-2-6-7. My thumb rests on spacebar to use the extra skill bar.

If you run out of room, use the second skill bar and put skills on the 1-2-3 spots. Hold space and press a number and it will use that skill. I have all the lower 'books' of skills on the skill bar according to each skill spot. I also have my imbue on the wheel spot, I find it easier than having phantom..

1 to 8 is my hand while grinding, 9 and 0 are pet pots/vigors i activate with my mouse.

Extra skillbar is just space bar 1-9, 0 is snow shield, i activate that with my mouse.

F3 bar is pvp with skills from 1 to 6.
8, 9, 0 are firewall/shield/bow switching, all done with my hands.

But yeah, i have to move my hand to be able to reach 6 to 0.

Most common used skills are from 1-4 and my fingers position is on those.

I actually use all of my F1, 1-0. And I use 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 0 on my F2. With fingers. Ice shield is Space 6. Yup, its easy.

1. is my pinky and rarely use that function since i put it their for ghost walk.
2. is the imbue and is where my left ring finger is at and yes the most hardest working finger.
3. my middle left finger.
4 and 5 is the second hardest working fingers which is my index finger, KD KD KD lol.
6 and 7 is the stabs, also use my left index fingers. I got long fingers.
8. no use
9. my right index finger which is the best move of all for Blader, The Lightning chain.

Imbue 6 key - ideal for my archer. Index on 6 usually

Idea:
AoE - right of imbue key.
Non-AoE - left of imbue key. (Also includes lower books of skills.)
1 - arrow combo
2 - arrow combo
3 - anti-devil
4 - anti-devil
5 - strong bow
6 - imbue (fire on F1 bar, cold on quick bar)
7 - explosion arrow
8 - explosion arrow
9 - autumn wind
0 - mind bow

I have the exact same skills on the quick bar too, the only difference being the cold imbue. I typically use my quick bar when I cast the two arrow combos with cold imbue (obvious reasons

)

I keep my most used skills at 5, 6, 7 and my next most used on the floating bar at 5, ,6 ,7, with the space bar you can get them just as quick. Plus it's pretty easy to get to the rest of the numbers with big hands.

The best use I've found so far is I've got a mouse with thumb buttons. I use them to cycle through Ctrl-1, Ctrl-2, etc etc. As a buffer it makes it a lot quicker to cycle through party members to reapply buffs or heal instead of clicking on them with a mouse.

I leave my fingers on 1-5. I just move a finger to use the #2. I can reach to the 9 with pointer finger but I only have skills 1-5.. lol

9 trap
0 wolf pots

I can reach all of them without too much trouble

extra skill bar is 1 harp,2 moving march, 3 guard tambour, 4 noise, 5 staff, 6 life turnover and 7-0 buffs other tambours etc etc

Takes a lot of finger moving, but well worth it in the end. I use a small macro to hit the ` button right next to 1. It switches to F2, hits 1 (Vampire Touch on F2 bar), and switches back to F1 really fast.

This is how a typical pvp would go:
Mouse, `, 7, 8, 9, 0, 6, 5, 3, 4, 1, 2, 1, 2 etc. Space + 1 for extra HP

Here's one that's unique...

6-8,0 are weapon skills. 9 is phantom walk

left hand: finger next to the pinky on 6, middle finger on 7, index switches from 8 to 0 with phantom walk on 9

pinky on G since I never bought silk and its easier to jam G a dozen times or so to pick everything up than to use the mouse.

Hardly ever used [whatever is on] 5 until about the time i quit so it never got integrated.

Thats the basic set up for the skills i used to farm at 42 with before the euro update.

Usually i would have the whole bar filled but this was just the first pic I found.

I always put imbue on 1. I use only 1-6, the rest i would lost track of where my finger are locating. The the floating bar i also only space+(1-6). ghost walk on X

i dont use all 8 of them but there is like an extra skillbar i think that u can make 2 rows of 4 or 1 row of 8 too that u also can use when u hold space + click number so its kinda usefull to use that bar too^^

1=imbue
3=2nd skill
2=3rd skill
0=hp potion
9=mp potions
6=4th skill (I barely use this one)

5 - varies from dog attack, to trace, dependin on if im grindin or huntering

9 - fire wall/ice wall (whatever fits the situation)
0 - snow shield

The way i use my skill bar is with my mouse. I hardly touch the keyboard all my friends use it but i couldn't get used to it.
