This guy is such an epic failure for real but on the other hand .. just think of it "You can have sex with your girlfriend while botting , but you can't have sex while hand grinding ^^" ^^

Ok ok... let me clarify. My post may have come across wrong. I was NOT accusing anyone of botting. Accusations like that have no place in this forum. I understand that and agree wholeheartedly. I was simply saying that the statement does sound like something that those who agree with botting would say. I'm sorry if I came across wrong. Besides, if you say "botting is like having sex with your gf", how can that be a good analogy? When you bot, you're not even playing. When you have sex with your gf, do you just lay back and watch TV or chat in a chat room with others? Again, sorry if my post came out wrong before.

think of it as [effort] and [reward]. Now why would you give someone else the [reward]?? No you make someone else put in the [effort], like taking you girl to the movies, or taking her shopping or going family BBQ whatever. And you come back when you feel like it and collect the [reward]. does that make more sense? lol... it's a bad quote either way, put something from like Benjamin Franklin or Ghandi on your sig, not some SRF blowhard.

The analogy is to laziness, it has nothing to do with pleasure.
It's basically saying, get off your lazy ass and do something yourself.

It's basically saying, get off your lazy ass and do something yourself. Exactly. The quote says "...because you're too lazy to do it yourself." Grinding can be hard work and take a long time, but the end result (reaching cap) should be worth all the effort. If it's not, then why bother? In the end, botting is cheating. It's the lazy way out.

Pff, why do u have to argue much about it? Legit is like working hard to have money, while botting is like robbing the bank to have money. No matter the excuse, it is illegal.

Business, truly it is not. Blind Justification of his foolish actions. Games are played for fun sake, when they are no longer fun... for your own good stop and smell the roses. Utter addiction in combination with pathetic sloth produces those denounced as botters.

1. botting is not like someone else having sex with your GF. If your comparing sex with your GF to a video game she must be the ugliest chick in the world. Im sorry but thats just stupid.
2. I loved it when the guy who was lecturing him said "You can't bot through life" its ironic because unless your babysitting most botters are out having a life, going to school, working, socializing. Its even more ironic because the people who sit at home and play sro 55+ hours in 4 days are more robot like in RL than the botters, seriously getting up grinding eating grinding eating grinding sleeping whats more robotic than that.
I don't support botters but JM clearly does. botters ruined this game for me JM didn't care. If i was in a guild that was trying to preserve its legit title i would be the first to announce a kick of that guy but i haven't been in a guild like that for a long long time and they're depressingly hard to find and get into nowadays because they are hardcore legit plays who have built a close bond playing 12 hours a day with each other lvling from 1-80. But the fact is most people bot, most people on this forum bot or have botted don't lie about it it defies the statistic. so in a guild that accepts botting i wouldn't care if someone botted as long as they let everyone else know and still participated in guild activities jobbing/war and such. Fighting a war on bots is like holding back ocean with your hands, its just to much unless you truely can devote most if not all of your free time to this game....its not our fight anyway....

You, like others lack the comprehension skills required to participate in a heavy loaded discussion. The first point[1]: Code: Botting is like letting some one have sex with your girlfriend because you're to lazy to do it yourself
Letting some one have sex with your girlfriend because you're to lazy to do it yourself
sex with your girlfriend because you're to lazy to do it yourself
girlfriend because your to lazy to do it yourself
because your to lazy
your lazy
lazy Your second part[2]: It is well known that most, if not all, player bots sit in front of their computer babysitting. They say "life", "life", "life". When the diction they should utilize is: "addiction", "addiction", "addiction". Refer to my initial post. go back to the OTL Xemnas, GD is a battleground. XemnasXD wrote: Any nobody Lol, if only you knew who was hiding behind this account.

If that whole judge theory is right, why not just say botters are lazy? I think that would help alot more.
The real analogy is something like this:
Having someone else do your job for you (you still get the pay), and you have fun (ex: Sex with girlfriend).

Judge, you have learned well. I have the highest of hopes for you, my greatest student.
The topic at hand is one of such morbid qualities that those who choose to support the weak-minded deserve no less horrid treatment than the weak-minded themselves.
From what I have witnessed whilst studying this game is the social impact it has on becoming, as some social institutes call it, '1337.'
When the purpose of the game has gone awry in your eyes, think deeply to understand if this endeavor is necessary. Is it so compelling to be superior? If it is, then prove you are not weak and work to reap the rewards.
It seems as if one retort is used in gaming forums across the Internet: "Get a life." As viable as it may look, it only comes across as ignorant and foolish. Just as all things in this universe, a "life" is relative. For some, this way of relaxing proves a reliable way to relieve stress or conquer personal demons.
One may be content with playing Silkroad Online for nine hours a day and feel satisfied at the end of the day.
Botters are the fools of the Earth, the weak-minded, and their incompetence is as palpable as my own hand.

I wouldn't expect to find actual people grinding at Jangan nowadays nice the implent of FW (fortress war) and the 20% tax the guild's occupying FW put on Jangan, which equals to a ghost town. I miss the days of 70 cap, not a lot of player bots, no legions upon legions of gold bots, and getting to 70 wasn't difficult, even for legits.
Also, yeah I'd have to agree that some botters are lazy =/ Most of the botters I've known botted and babysat their bots while doing so. Only a few of them botted and then went out to do something. A friend of mine botted from basically 1~70; he didn't go out to 'real life' while doing so, he sat there at his comp babysitting it, and when he started a new character he was too lazy to even level it to even 20 before botting again. '-.-
However, I believe most people just don't want to grind for hours anymore, or are disheartened when bots 'beat' them. Example: a legit only reaches a certain level in a day of playing then logs. S/he logs in the next day or whenever only to witness a bot has gained more levels in the same or even less amount of time--People turn desperate and they want a solution, and usually they want it fast--A bot is a quick way to get to a high level w/o having to do much, except log in.

@Judge If you want to say botters are lazy say botters are lazy. Saying Botting his like someone else having sex with your GF is a gross hyperbole. SRO is not in anyway shape or form even close to as good as sex. If you think SRO is as good as sex you need to reevaluate your life. This is not to say i don't understand the use of the hyperbole but such a ridiculous form of speech is hardly insulting or demeaning, its laughable hence my comments.
Most people you catch botting are the ones who don't respond when you talk to them. Thats how my guild caught botters. When JM used to go around and actually ban botters thats how they used to do it and the ones that didn't respond were gone. Most likely if someones babysitting they'll do the easiest thing when someone calls them out for botting, they'll answer. Its not hard. Just a few clicks. Go out to the hashades or the snipers on Olympus or Persia or Odin or most servers and see if the people there answer when you say something to them. Most likely they won't because
1. they're botting 2. they're not there 3. They're having sex with your GF since your to busy on the 12 hour grind....
I didn't actually think anything i said would need this much explanation but GD is clearly serious business for you, not so much for me. You're right I should stick to the OTL, theres a calculable level of stupidity there but here its a bit more random. Any nobody with a smart mouth can become instant win with support of a redneck and the self-styled Queen B of SRO...also laughable...
EDIT:
btw anyone else think omni's response is sortof creepy...like a Emperor Palpatine for legits creepy...

Wow//// This was a great read!!! I just signed out of the game all ticked off because I spend money to have this "Premium Ticket" so I can sit in lagg watching everything be killed by gold and exp botters. And I just realized I could be messing around with my girlfriend!!!!!!
Creepy responce ...yes. Time to get some fresh air. We should be allowed to hunt the bots!! Make it a QUEST! 100 bots = 1/2 of the exp and gold they collected. If you tried to kill someone who wasnt botting they would say something, right? I dont really know how tec the bott thing goes, I have never done it. By the way I have a guild, no one bots..I would gladly take anyone who wanted to join a non botters Guild. Were lame but were honest.
OH yeah, I was wondering if you got those TPS reports, cause were really gonna need those TPS reports. Ill drop off another copy of that memo. Yeahh.... Pathfinder,Odisious,Pasific babe....server of the bow botters!!

For the analogy in my sig, it's not at all about the pleasure or displeasure of the act. It's simply about being lazy. Comparing it to sex is (I'd assume - not my quote) simply meant to be funny and/or somewhat shocking for lack of a better term. I guess it could say "botting is like letting someone else carve a tatoo into your arm because you're too lazy to do it yourself." In the end, you get the same result - a tatoo. If you let someone else (call it a bot) do it, it may be faster/easier, just lazy. I know the tatoo isn't the best analogy, but other side of the 'pleasure' spectrum from sex, and still works about the same. Seems kind of silly to keep arguing about. It's just a somewhat humorous quote with some truth behind it.

Actually, that guy also buys gold, buys silk items, and uses a pay to use bot, in all for all i think he wastes about 100$ a month on Silkroad, only an obsessed person would do something like this, all a normal legit needs to get him through a month is a GT/Premium and a collector pet which sums up for 20-30$ only. non ego man wrote: Go to Venus.
And "business" lol. Does he really think a lvl 80 char is gonna be worth d*ck? When anyone can bot a char up to 80 for free in 1-2 months? Idiot... Actually he can make some good money out of it, i just think its sad that silkroad turned into a business for bots.
