We're going on a bot killing spree! No, not as murder, but like this:

Every trader, hunter, and thief is welcome. We will all have a transport with 1 good, and wait until lightning thiefs spawn. Just stand on a spot where all bots stop for a minute, and they will all die because they got hit by the lighting.

dude trust me...that would be the lesser percentage of ppl..and i mean 'LESSER' coming to help u...almost all the server bot...and if u can get alot of lvl 80s that would be ppl fighting against what they believe in

i knew someone who bots and made a gold bot trap. it could happen. good luck, last time that happened on zeus i noticed the difference at the flowers by the oasis. so it does have an effect.

The problem though is when someone comes over and tells you off for killing their goldbots. They might even murder you or somethin'.

thats why ya get alot of people to back you up for just such an occasion. let them kill you once, then watch them get slaughtered by 5 or 6 other people. they lose.

we've done that quit a few times lately, we must have killed 500-600 bots, plus they drop alot of stuff.

1 more thing: If they die enought times, then they will lvl down. After 2-3 level downs they won'T be able to wear their armor or even their weapon . So if after that you leave them, then they will lvl down by themself. They go out to flowers and get killed by them, then go back and get killed over and over, until they won'T e able to wear any of their equipment, and they will get owned by earth ghosts

You can fight agains the goldbots. You just need to be patient and need to have a few good friends

i was never aware of how many bots there are (not that ive seen all)coz i mean, if you sit in town you see them walking the same path but its not that impressive. yesterday i went to do a noob quest at red scorpions to be able to do one in ishades and i went through the flowers path that leads to that are... wow i swear theres were more than 500!

I would try and do this too... if I could actually log in to Venice when I have time to play. Usually I keep trying and trying, and when I get in, it's time to go to work in the morning, or time to get my daughter to bed at night, or get myself to bed for the night.

That and a lvl 53 thief just standing there near the gate is a bit of a sitting duck to the high lvl traders and hunters that would come by and 1-hit me.

It was really fun today, 3 hunters helped me to kill bots for 3 hours long. I'm sure we killed over 500 bots today. I might even start doing this every day.

I'll post the videos I made when they are finally uploaded. I can't believe how long it takes, it's been uploading for 2 hours now and only 5% done. I'll leave my pc on for the night and I hope it'll be done tomorrow ^^

For the rest that doesn't play on Venice, you can do it in your own server too. Ask around for hunters to help you, I got 4 hunters just by asking around, so I'm sure you can get some too ^^

It's been mentioned many times before. The quote is not about the extreme pleasure of silkroad. It's about the laziness of people who bot. Too lazy to grind, bot. Too lazy to have sex with your girlfriend, have someone else do it. In both cases, the person is lazy!



Well the 'bot killer' would have to do his best to try and warn any possible legit. However, if you are legit and just walking by there, if you saw a bunch of NPC thieves 50 levels higher than you running around a fire ox killing everyone around, would you continue to approach? Spawning can't really be helped though.

Yes, there were a few legits who walked by and got killed, but I ressed them again. But 1 legit for 500 bots you kill is still a pretty good deal.

no its not a good deal, that legit will get mad and realize "hey if i was higher level i would murder these bastards" and there you go he decides to buy some botcards and later some gold to get "stronger".
what do you change by killing goldbots? nothing
all you guys are doing is helping gold companies.
the higher level gold farm spots are full and from time to time they need to delevel their gold bots so all you guys are doing is helping them

Good thread and im glad people are doing this. I am almost done farming so I will join the parade.
I was doing it the other day with a warrior friend, he did it for 1hour then I took over and kept the fun going for 2more hours after him, my equips were going to break but....I used an item mall repair hammer

We had minimum I would say 300-500bots at the DW teleport standing there.
Some people pm'ed me and said that they got ???? error teleporting from city to city passing to DW

Well after that I ran into the flowers and scorpions and saw how empty it was. I was proud of my work.

Wanna know how it ended? It was a hunter that came to me named Caolho saying im sorry but I wont let you do this, (i guess he had a few of them slaughtered) so he killed my lightning thief...Asyamura doesnt like that so I went purple he ran away but maddening doesnt let you run, 21k crit bang the bot is down.

We should do this bot-genocide in everyserver.

And for the person that posted on top I got a bot friend that is doing this. I dont believe you, stop hiding behind your screen you closet botter.
A legit should not talk to bots talking to them encourages them in what they do.

We did get an instant kill. 4 lvl 60 thiefs kill a lvl 30 bot with ease!

Me and my friends are making A murder guild atm to kill bots we are making chars in our academy's (honnor points )
and will make a 8 man pt just to go out and murder every bot we see.
8 lvl 40 chars will kill every bot even lvl 80's

My method is way easyer, because when you are a murder, you can only kill 15 people each day. And there are waaaaay more bots.
The way I do it, I kill 200+ people in 1 hour, and no murder

Lvl 5 trader/thief guild with 50 mid-high level members. Have them all run around the map with their transports clearing out grinding areas. We'll call the guild BotPolice.

Just global that you're going to clear out a certain area like the mujigis or penons or flowers in the oasis a bit before you get there.
