i wathc this forums since years (ya actually i play since 06) but i never felt like post in this forum cuz 99% of the posts here are look my +5 look my +7.

if you dont believe me and talk shit (this only acc i made check the ips and post a log if you say something else !) yea i can prove it but as i said i like the guy alot and i dont want his union 2 get fawked cuz of that. just letting you know even admins here are hypo. actually 99% of the legits are hypo cuz they buy gold, use no dc clients, multiclients, ect. and yea even alot of them run farmer bots.

i made this account 2 post that, if you dont believe it ban me and show how ignorant you are.

edit: ask cw from 0x33 2 post you his ip logs and compare 2 the forum logs. then you will see that alot people here actually using at least sm. the people and admins that use porgramms like this should have at least the balls 2 reveal it themselves. this is their chance to do
that .

at this point i can see only three ways:

1. stay legit (hoping in a miracle one day) and got mad
(or just play careless about bots)

2. fed in with the game (join bot -.-)

3. Quit and stop play f2p (<-i mean without monthly subscription, coz obviusly sro is expansive) korean games

its a lost cause for me

Go look at Venus boards. Venus is a server is run by legits. Look at Hera, they'll do the same thing. Legits shouldn't be low level, weak and undivided. Legits should stick together, level quickly together and stand strong. Saying it can't be stopped is losing half the battle already. Stand up, face the problem, do you best to deal with it.

Joymax don't police the game, true, which is why we must do it. In all honesty, the players are given a lot of free reign, so why not use that?

You can take the game back. You just need to unite people to the common cause. We did that with Venus. the bots are quitting, the only ting we have left to deal with mainly is the goldbots. We know how to disconnect bots, we know how to mass disconnect multiclients and we piss them off because we're showing them that they're months of botting are meaningless.

I have lost faith in JM, but I enjoy the game. I piss bots off in my server and have fun doing it. Just unite with people, stand strong, stand tall, be proud.

its not important who wins or who loses,cant beat the botters anyway even joymax knows that but banning them at least changes some of them back to legit, most of them simply restart or have a second level 80 they can go back to and be "clean"

Joymax seems to take a lot information from this forum, who knows this might wake them up a bit, they banned people before from information taken here on SRF it would be a great job if they once again do it.

enjoying the game is what really matters, but what if enjoying it is made harder by the tons of bots wouldnt it be more enjoyable for everyone when joymax banned from time to time?

I'm more sick of gold companies using gold bots to inflate the economy and the gold/spam bots in town. they are more of a pain. honestly, I could care less if people bot. It's their choice and I don't really feel like it's a big burden to deal with. I don't see how it's immoral either, as many people claim. I remember watching a thing on, I THINK it was BBC, but who knows..probably not..anyways, it was about this couple, husband and wife, who play City of Heroes (I think..yeah)...and they work full time, both of them, and they have tons of stuff to take care of. they can only play a couple hours at night, MAYBE...weekends more. But, games are always geared to be higher levels, and a lot of the people they play with are young and have much less responsibility and are leveling up much faster and it's much more difficult for them to compete. So, they pay for powerleveling. Are they terrible people? They love the game they play, and play it when they can, but they'd like to be higher level, quicker (that's the point of pwerlvling and botting, etc). With games dominated by young people who can spend all ..... day on the computer playing against adults who cannot, and with these games geared towards higher levels, I can understand why some people bot. Now, for young people who bot, it doesn't make as much sense to me. I mean, if you're like 15, and you go to school and that's basically about it, I don't know why they bot as much...anyways, I think people bitch too much about it and take it too seriously. But, that's just my opinion

If that were the case (you report a botting SRF mod, that mod sees it and bans you), I would think (hope) that SuicideGrl would unban you and ban the botter. It doesn't matter if the bot is a mod or not. Actually, mods should be even held to a higher standard because of their mod status.

Although I don't think mods can ban can they? I thin that's just left to SuicideGrl or Ryoko.

I remember like over year or so ago when the GMs would still address the servers from time to time. I think it was probably Crayon, but someone asked him about how to report a person botting, he said they would not accept screenshots or video, because those could be altered, they would only accept the name of the person and they would have to investigate themselves. This was back when the rules were still being somewhat enforced. Here there's always been a don't ask don't tell kind of policy, and since the topic bothers some so much they didnt have to worry about people flaunting it in their face here. I think that's always been enough and it has always made the SRF forums stand apart from most of the others. It's a good intention, this idea, but I think it's going to get abused.

Admittance here has always been good enough. I don't see why in-game admittance would be any different. Then again, who's to say the character in-game is the real SRF person.

In game admission is tricky. Saying and doing are 2 diff things.

It does not matter if the players care. Joymax does not care and that is all that matters. Xian fell as have and will all servers. That is all you need to know. This includes venus and all future servers including hera. Joymax likes the high number of users regardless if they are real or not. SRO will never be playable.
