Hmm for start it would be good if you give more details about your computer if use AGP or PCI-E etc also if you are looking for some mark in particular also where do you live ,most likely yes it will unless you have a 6800 geforce or a ati 9600.

you can check those

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... ategory=48

do us a favor to better help you.. follow these steps and post here what it says...

Assuming you have Windows XP
1.) Right click on My Computer and select Properties
2.) Click on the Hardware Tab
3.) Click on the Device Manager button
4.) Click on the + sign next to display adapters and post it here in this thread.

This is the easiest way to do it without having to open your pc...

that won't help the thing will only show the card not the type of card he does have ,if you need info about your computer download this program http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-135.zip it will tell you many things about your computer.

the difference between AGP and PCI is that AGP is almost obsolete you hardly see any new graphic cards on that format ,PCI is a newer technology much better and has similar prices to the AGP the only bad thing it's you need a mother board who support PCI so check if you computer can support PCI if it can support it go for PCI.

since this is an integrated video controller (built-in on the motherboard)... you will have to open your PC box and take a visual looksee at the motherboard to determine what type of video card slot you have... most of the time, the slots are color coded... Video card slots are usually at the top slot closest to the Chip (the one with the heatsink and fan)... Brown is AGP as this picture here (highlighted in red)
Image

as for the PCI-E slot, it is at the same location as the AGP slot, but a different color as shown here...
Image

if you are still unsure, you can also go to your user manual, or have a friend come over and help you out... the slots are specific to each board, so worse comes to worse, you could buy each type and if it don't fit, return it and buy the other... :)

Mark, it won't help you anything if you have an AGP motherboard and you buy a PCI-E Graphic card, you will just loose your money. That is why we need to know what type of graphic card your motherboard uses, get it?
