if you ask me, there is only one thing that makes a player non-legit is by BOTTING, HACKING, SCAMMING. Buying gold is ok as long as you dont buy accounts coz they are bot accounts anyway. ^^

I'm sorry, it's people like you (or at least people that do buy gold - you at least support gold buying) that are contributing to all of the problems in SRO. Gold bots fill a huge percentage of the server. They overcrowd our grinding areas, often times KS our mobs, create insane server traffic especially on the older servers, etc, etc.

Then we have people that buy gold from the gold companies, supporting those bots, and giving them all the more reason to create more gold bots.

Even if you completely ignore the fact that the gold you buy comes from gold bots, buying gold gives you an unfair advantage over those of us that work for our gold. You can create a lvl 1 character on a new server, buy a billion gold, and be set for the rest of the game. Whereas I create a lvl 1 and have a long road ahead of me to earn enough money to afford pots and maybe a weapon or two.

Buying gold is supporting bots...no different from botting if you support them

LOL
There is no legit players who are lvl 80

the only way to be legit is to grind yourself, sell your drops to make gold for pots, buy NPC eq and alchemy that and use the last tier drops you get for lvl 7x

as soon as you buy anything from a bot/none legit player your no longer legit

This is just my opinion, and as for hacking and scamming, well those people must have forgotten the whole point in playing a game (to have fun with friends). If they keep it up then they will find that no one will continue to play the game anymore and then that wont be fun for them, after all, they play the game to have fun too i guess.
