Glavier -> Blader?
I just wanted to gather the opinion of some of you SRF'ers out there, about my wanting to switch from a Glavier to becoming a Blader.
My current status is that I'm a L65 Pure STR Glavier, farming on PEG's in the Caves. I have Mastery Points into Heuksal, Lightning, and Fire. 56, 46, and 56, respectively.
Glaviers are BORING. In PvE, I just spam Flying Dragon Fly, SSS, and then Prince. Then SSS, and another Prince. Rinse and repeat until dead. In PvP, I just spam SSS and Prince. Nothing else. Because for a Glavier, that's all you have to do. Boring. Don't flame me, because that's just my
personal opinion - I know that many of you other Glaviers out there may disagree, so just keep in mind that this is my personal opinion. I find that Bladers are much more fun, especially with the hella sexy chains.
So should I delevel Heuksal and put the points into Bicheon? I'll be doing it with Skill Edit Points, from the Item Mall - Silk is no object, but keep in mind that I COULD be using the Silk elsewhere, perhaps for a better purpose, so that's certainly something to consider. Although I don't mind spending it, it still could, in your opinion, be spent elsewhere for a better cause. Perhaps for a monkey. Perhaps for a PT. It'll cost me more than $50 to delevel Heuksal and put it into Bicheon.
If you have any knowledge of the PvP status concerning Bladers and Glaviers in regards to the 90 Cap, take that into consideration at well - if Bladers seem to be severely, SEVERELY gimped come the 90 Cap, then that's certainly something that I have to think about as well. On the same note, if Glaviers only get better, and completely dominate at the 90 Cap... then, yeah.

PvP is certainly a big aspect of SRO for me, as well as jobbing. PvE... not really. I don't know many people that actually love the long grind.
So, what are your thoughts? Should I stay a Glavier? Or switch to a Blader? Bladers are tankers. Glaviers are more built towards being a damage-dealer, although that's more a Nuker's job.
So... what? Opinions, please - although only if you're sure what you're talking about.
And above all, please, no flames. Not towards me, my wanting to switch, nor towards anyone elses comment that they might post in regards to this thread - I'd like some constructive feedback or reasons why I should or should not switch. Not flames. Those don't get any of us anywhere.
Thank you, guys.
