OK glavie lets get to work on this, :) Here are my stats and figures for All Imbues;

First Colunm is Ice Book 1 lvl 9
Second Colunm is Light Book 1 lvl 9
Third Colunm is Fire Book 1 lvl 9#
( all these are done with NO BUFFS only Anti-Devil and Imbue)

Fourth Colunm is Ice Book 2 Lvl 3, With ALL Buffs

and heres the fun parts

Now first the most obvious stuff;
1. Ice is the weakest by a long way, but crits on average 1 out of 3 which is pretty amazing its almost 19% more likely to crit than either of the other imbues.
2. The Erratice nature of Light grows further as It actually has the Highest Crit Height. And infact was only marginally lower on total damage over fire.
3. Yes Fire has the Highest Average
4. The Buffs work a 3 page increase on Ice dosent warrant an extra ~32k total Damage.
5.The Crit Increase of Using White Hawk lvl 8 is barely noticable, I mean basic Ice Imbue got me 22 crits Yet using White hawk with all Imbues I only get 23..

For Testing reasons These where 1st hits on Black Yeowa.
MORE TO COME !!!!!!!

[EDIT] Balance is 86:71

That is because the white hawk dosnt increase your chance of a critical. It increases your Attack Rating which gives you a better chance to hit towards the peak of your damage range.

well this could be a very interesting tread :). let's hope the flame-noobs don't ruine it. I'm also sceptic against hybrids.. but still very interested in the posibilities.

ow and from what i hear is that a lot of kSRO players switch to light imbue.. because with the status-effect (wich is apperently really strong later on) the dmg from light imbue is higher then the fire-imbue..
just rumors i heard arroudn though.. so don't ask me the concrete stuff.. i don't know and i haven't talked to kSRO players myself. If this ain't correct someone plz correct me.

This is great I love the enthusiasm :D

I need to point out though that this data cannot be compared to mine because the criticals have been added into the overall damage. In my calculations I left them completely separate. Sooo...... Keep this in mind when comparing it to my thread.

Also be careful when looking at data it is easy to jump to a false conclusions. Which is why we really need others to also test there imbues.

okay but i don't really get the goal of all this testing?? maybe you guys need to state that first. Cause the final goal is the ulitmate hybrid bow. But i think that if you make some sub-goals that more ppl will be interested. Since those goals might be interesting for everybody not just hybrid bows.

Ow and if there is some goal that i like then i'll be willing to help give you some data too. Not that my bow char is high lvl but still maybe you can use it.

Click on the link in my sig.

The goal is to find out exactly what the damage differences are between imbues, on all builds. All the data we have received has been from bow users. Hence the thread title.

When people ask which imbue to go with, I want to say well....fire is xxx stronger than light, wich is xxx stronger than ice with exact numbers tailored to their balances.

okay ic.. very interesting.. although i don't have a character that is 50+ with 2 imbue's so it's 2 bad i can't help.

But i'm wondering what the turnout is gonna be.
And btw i heard a rumor of light doing more dmg when the next book will be added. Because the PR decrease is that strong that the eventual dmg is bigger en bigger then that from fire. Dunno if it's true.. i've been hearing it more and more lately but didn't find anyone who has prove, tested it themself or knows someone that tested it themself. It's all passed on through many ppl so i'm not sure i believe it.

But just imagine what it would do for certain builds if fire is no longer the undoubtable strongest imbue. Finally not every build will be taking fire, so more differcity in the builds. I so hope it's true.

to me, the imbues dun seem to make the weather ... esp fire vs light. if bye-bye immunity, ice will be perfect, u could sneak in 1 full attack damage without a reply if u freeze/frostbite.

i must say i am surprised at the imbue dmg results. i would have expected the hybrid to see more diff since the higher mag. balance.

i've 2 lowly pure str (lvl 2x) ... archer and glaiver that i am trying out with light imbue. i could do force or ice later for the 3rd tree ... i just get tired of the usual str-fire stuffs.
