I haven't been playing long enough to know what happened when the cap was raised to lvl 70, so......

I'm currently SP farming at lvl 52. I'm weighing up my options about which skills to keep and such.

Let's say I go ...

- 90 Weapon
- 90 Fire
- 90 Lightning

That leaves me 30 for something  allowing for the increase to lvl 90 cap, and a total of 300 masteries.

OK, so my question really relates to those people who have NOT considered the lvl 90 cap in the creation of their character. Let's say someone has gone...

- 70 Weapon
- 70 Fire
- 70 Lightning
- 70 Ice
- (leaving 20)

What happens to this lvl 70 person now?

Will they need to consider delevelling one of their masteries so they can reach their 90 cap?

What happens to us when SRO arrives with a 110, 130 or 150 cap?

Are we screwed? Or will they also release an increase to the number of total masteries?

This would make sense to me.

My question relates more specifically to LEVEL CAP than skilling.

Maybe I'll pm a mod if we get no answers here :)

I think by the time this has happened you would have stopped playing SRO

Well, its all about being strong NOW. Later, you might have to change sometihng and you can do that via reallocation potions. As a str, I went like you did, three masteries. BUt as an int, Ill go the latter for the extra protection at ice gives, light and fire for power and some spear skills with the passive. I can always revaluate that later.

I know I won't be playing to hit 90.

My main goal is just to reach 70, thats tough enough.

IMO if Joymax raises the level cap after they give out the cheer event prizes (which is most likely), then the advantage goes to the botter.

Botters are more likely to hit the level cap way more sooner than actual legit players, thus discouraging legit players and having them turn away to other games. I know i would (right after i hit 70 of course)

Ultimately the raised level cap will just make the illegimate players more powerful.

Now I see you have a big post count which could mean any number of things, from "I just like to blab" all the way up to "I have learnt one or two things since I joined the forum", so I'll pay you the respect you've earnt (until I hear different :D ), and ask.....

You say apparently magic skills stop at 70 so from this I can read you're saying that when we hit the level 90 CAP that magic skills will stop at 70? Or that currently magic skills stop at 70?

I realise you may know what you're talking about

The skills will stop at lvl 69, but you can still increase the mastery's. When you up a mastery, you get 1% more damage when using a skill in a mastery.

In other words.. your skills will be stuck at lvl 69, but you can still increase your damage by upping your mastery's.

lol, to answer a couple uncertainties as well as i can:

the mastery cap has been almost completely confirmed of not being raised.

skills so far (all version, so lvlv 90 cap included) stop at 69 thats it, however they migh change that in a while, a LONG while.

oh and a tip wong, i'm not sure what kind of hybrid yuo are..... but all skills currently stop at 69, so i think magic will help yuo more. if yuo must leave something low, choose a tree you use for buffs, and not dmg at all

Block and ban the botters? Please.

GM's suck at doing their job.

There was a bot farmer that farmed next to me while i was ding my 100k sp run.

We practically started and ended the same time... granted she had an upper leg since she botted 24/7.

Guess what, she's 70 now. GG.
