Highest possible is +255. The likelihood is extremely, extremely small though.

Maybe if they had super astral or something. Like instead of blowing back down to +4, it would be like +9 if you failed.

There is a +11 shield that has been posted here repeatedly. Also there is a SS from kSRO or jSRO of a +13.

jSRO astral is better than ours.

Fail after +4 and go back to +4.

Fail after +7 and go back to +7.

*NOT SURE* Fail after +9 and go back to +9.

I know the +7 one is true, can't remember about +9.

What he meant Slashdot was that if you tried to + a weapon that was already
+4 and failed and it had astral on it, then it would go back to +4, then if the same astral was used on a +7 weapon and the enhancement failed, because the weap was already +7, it would just reset to +7. I dunno if that helps or not :).

^^I agree with deadly eyez, taking out astral would make the game better I think, maybe not more fair, but better.

Edit: Hmmm, good point Caras.

Not when people CCF. Gives them 0 income. A lot of their income comes from gold tickets and monkeys. They are trying to find a way to get money out of the capped people who don't need to level anymore.

Not really fair, you would have to buy sungoggles just so that you won't have to loose hp in town :(

w00t yeah.. the npc's should sell sunglasses, and everyone who doesn't be carry one would be "stunned" as long as such weapon is in 100m range lol.

Ontopic: I heared the ksro also has astrals that keep your weapons at +7 when failing.. till we have that, no +10's for you :P. ISfrom +4 to +7/9 is.. extremely difficult already lol

they should lower the price of astral to a reasonable level rather then having to spend almost 10 (fakking) dollars for 1 astral and 1 immortal being 64+ using d8 equipment!!!!!

imagine failing to get +5 three times in a row and it works on the fourth try... who in the fak would spend the 37 dollars to get to +5 ??? the GM's really need to take a look at those ridiculous prices, no wonder people resort to CCF with such a pricetag on astral and immortal. ;o

those 37 dollars could be spent more wisely you could:

* spam your server with over 250 global messages!
* change your character skin 3 times
* almost 3 months worth of GT
* buy more then a dozen damage increase OR resistance scrolls

if you could PK monkeys then it wouldnt even be a problem to res it using those 37 dollars....

the higher level you get, the more money those motherfakkers at joymax try to rip from you. check out the price increase on all the items you need at a higher level on the SRO.net web with item mall...

gender switch
astral
immortal

i wouldnt be surprised if alchemy is rigged somehow on d8 equipment, the amount of money gaymax can strip from you is enormous.

for that i support CCF and all the +7 weapons/equipment items, and give the finger to gaymax

well, i wouldnt go as far to say i "support" CCF, and i would never do it myself, but i agree, the prices are ridiculous, this is why i am playing wow, and not focussing on sro as much.

just a correction, it isn't almost 10 bucks a try as yuo don't need to buy immortal more than once

No the hotkey would be S for shit yourself.

+11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9PikcymvJc

+13 ive heard of also, but my theory is there is no limit, but i seriously doubt we will ever see much more than +13 maybe +15.
