There's bit of a learning curve, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. There's a 3rd class available now by standard.
we have:
- Pathfinder
- Soldier
- Juggernaught
So far all the classes have been pretty equal. It's just pretty hard to kill, seeing as most weapons fire slow but powerful shots and everyone has a lot of life.
I've played about 30 games or so by now and I more or less end up with 8 kills per game and maybe a flag steal or a generator kill. I've also unlocked the sniper class which follows the TF2 charge-up mechanic.
The most important part of the game is seeing the flight trajectories. If you can foresee where they'll land, you can kill them with relative ease.
Also all the classes are unlockable with exp. The sniper cost me about 7200 exp, which is about 10 or so games.
Honestly the more I'm playing this, the more enjoyable it becomes

. I love the ski mechanic, it adds so much to the game. Timing perfect landings for maximum speed boost so you just fly straight into the flag and get away without notice is really rewarding

If you're having trouble getting kills I would recommend using the Juggernaut. His mortar weapon can 1 hit most classes although the detonation delay makes it hard to hit. His secondary on the other hand is great. It's a boosted version of the Pathfinders disk weapon, with more AoE and damage. 2 shots and your enemy is dead. With all the flying and jumping it's never really easy but it definitely gives you an edge. Juggs are slow though :/.
