Hey, I have a question. Right now I have a level 69 hybrid int s/s, which is getting really boring to me, but I will probably level it until 77 or so, then start a new character. I was thinking about pure str archer, but I really want it to have force. By the time I get my current char to 77, + the time it takes to level a pure str, the 90 cap might come out(doubt it), but it doesn't hurt to be safe. I was wondering what masteries would be the best at the 90 cap for a pure str archer with force? If the current res skill levels follow, you will be able to res a lvl 90 with lvl 80 force. So I was thinking 90 bow/90 fire/ 80 force/40 light, or would 90 bow/90 light/80 force/40 fire be better for the better move speed? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you wanna use ice? I use ice, everyone's like "Everyone is immune to ice", but they aren't. I have only seen like 3 ice immune people in all my days.
Why do you want force? But ok, if you want to, go ahead.

I don't want to use ice because of the low damage, and because I want force. Another thing, that post didn't help at all.

Go watch anyone 70+.

7/10 are immune.

You can get force, and you'll be a very good support char, dealing insane crits from a distance and ressing others during guild wars. Force is a good choice for archers.

Keep in mind, however, that the cap will raise.... someday. And the new skills will come. I pity those who will have to delevel a mastery from 70.

force is a good support character, not many people do it but they are very handy when doing jobs and uniques.

Exactly, I feel that force goes perfectly with bow, only problem is that they need both fire and lightning, so I was wondering would 90 fire/40 light or 90 light/40 fire be better? I think I will go with the 90 fire/40 light, because when I pvp, I can always use those lvl 8 sapphire tabs, and you don't need a high lvl grasswalk for grinding.

Virtually nobody is a resser. You have to give up making yourself better in order to have a skill(s) to help others. This makes them very valuable in lots of situations. I constantly get requests to join yarkan partys for when people die, because nobody wants to take the healer role.

Looking at the way things have gone up until now, with the res skill, its still really unsure what the max res level will be.

Skill LVL - Res LVL
69 - 79
72 - 82
75 - 85
78 - 88
81?

So will they implement the last skill at 81 to be able to res a person past the cap (lvl 91)? Or will they screw over the healers again, and make the highest resable level 88? Im very curious.

My planned build for 80 is 80 bow \ 80 light \ 69 force \ 61 fire with 10 left over so i dont have to delevel as much.

At 90cap, it will probably be something like 90 bow \ 90 light \ 90 force (or whatever lvl is needed for max res\harmony circle) \ remainder in fire, but we will see when that comes.

I just prefer lightning over fire.
