Wow alot of negative post, replys to stuff about SRO and Joymax. Those koreans go out of there way so you ppl can play a free game, and all I see is whineing about every little thing. I get annoyed sometimes at this game but I always look the other way. Life is too short to complain about everything. To repeatally say the same negative things about Joymax and SRO in every thread or post is just so selfish. Here's my question would you do a better job? If you were more thankful for the ppl (the nice and kool ppl) you meet ingame or the awsome gameplay, or just being able to escape from reality and hunt down Isy for a couple hours. You would be more happy. So what if you get ksed or spam at for no reason, so what if ppl surpass your lvl cause they bot, so what if they get more sox, so what if they buy gold, so what if the lagg is so annoying you want to kill your comp, It is just a game and like any game is simplely there to be enjoyed not made fun of or flamed, If you can't enjoy the game with/ or without its problems you shouldn't be playing at all. Is RL any different there are problems around the world and all you do is diss a game cause you can't do this or do that. I'm not trying to preach. So do whatever you want.

People would be more appreciative if the game appeared to be going forwards as oppsed to taking 2 steps back to every one forward.

Ppl should be appreciative for whats already been done and is there, yet everyone always wants stuff, imagine if Europe did come ppl would go and whine about it and the little problems with it, and then the whole cycle of how SRO sucks begns again. I think mostly that we are unappreciative because most of us want something that we can't have, yet if when we do finally get it we find out that we don't even want it in the first place, that during the crouse of whining we have grown to hate it.

How much do JM pay you John? Many kind words there.

Back to topic, I totally agree with you that SRO is JUST A GAME. Couple of hours of entertainment and gaming is an escapade to real life. I am not going into the players characteristics on botting, gold farming etc. that is in the grey area of the gaming spirit. If people need to do this in game, I am happy to know that is another loser in real life that cannot deal with real life competition.

However, I disagree that SRO should not be crucified as the word "free" comes in the mode of packaging. I do casual gaming after work and I do buy silk, which is a form of payment to JM.

As it is, the gaming community, me amongst many do "pay" JM for services:- to address issues like server lag (Rofl, WoW operate in a single server with higher gamer on it), in-game policing (bots/farmers), game security and account restoration (hacking and punishment - I CAN'T believe that JM do not assist in restoring hacked accounts, the game security is heck low). I am sorry I do not agree with your point that JM should not be deemed responsible to run the game as any responsible gaming company is doing. 8)

As far as it goes, so long as you are able to distinguish between real life and gaming, it is all good and being an advert gamer - if things ain't going right, there are many more options out there. Lastly, good luck and have fun. :D :D

+++ Man, you've hit the nail on the head with a lot of good points... :)

1 - it is just a game. A F2P at that.

2 - it's going to have faults but enjoy the experiences you do have either playing alone or with friends.

3 - there's always RL to go look for something else to do if the bad points outweigh the good in your respective opinions.

I applaud JM's effort to supply a game that is a F2P, and don't mind buying silk to support their cause. A lot of people won't pay for silk b/c of the bad svc, but it's a catch-22...If JM doesn't make $$$, they obviously won't be able to continue to develop the game and possibly fix some of its problems. Despite the drawbacks, it's still a great game.

So next time some of you out there decide to go buy something that isn't through JM, know that you're not helping the big picture. Shame on you! :(
