					| Many people use Photoshop to make their sigs. This requires you to know how to use photoshop, or to at least learn how to use it. _________________

Like mine (LOL) Photoshop is simple, all the added features (eg: filters and layer styles) should almost be NEVER used, they're meant to be used to touch up not to create an element with. What most people use photoshop's tools (the bar on the left side) and layers._________________

					| a "sig" is short for "signature" which came from people attaching small pictures in their forum "signature" area. _________________

					| If u don't want to get photoshop or don't want to pay for it, I've heard that GIMP is really good (free) and so is OpenCanvas (free). Check those out if u want a decent/good image editor for free =D _________________

					| GIMP FTW!
Does almost everything that Photoshop does, is more lightweight and is 100% free.

					| Bake:
Well, since while I'm not playing/coding I'm running Linux, .NET isn't a good option.

But I'l give it a try on my Gaming Platform (aka WinXP) and at work.

					| Ah, let me qualify that: Paint.NET > GIMP in terms of learning curve and intuitive interface, but not in terms of actual image editing power. For my purposes it is perfect. For someone who wants to do fancy stuff GIMP may be better. _________________
